Owned and trail rode the last 4 years by a 62 year old lady. Socks has been hauled to many state parks and overnight rides. He will ride quiet in the lead or in the middle of the pack. He has been ridden by himself or in large groups and will neck rein, side passes and has a nice slow canter. Very friendly and easy to catch, shoe, clip, wash and has great barn manners. 100% sound.
