Rusty is a big mare standing around 15 hands and 1100 pounds at just 4 years old. She has lots of body and bone and can handle a full days work. Rusty is quick footed but smooth as glass to ride. She has no buck and can sit in the pasture and be pulled out and always the same. Rusty was started and raised on the Haythorn Ranch in Nebraska. She was used on the ranch to doctor calves and yearlings and prowl cattle. Rusty has also been started in roping and is making a nice head horse. She will drag anything all day long. Rusty has been used to work colts and handles her self well. She is gentle and kind natured. Rusty is Ranching Heritage Eligible. Her sire is Rusty Gun 876 son of Real Gun, an AQHA World Show Super Horse, Reserve Champion Senior Working Cow Horse, and NRCHA Limited Open Bridle Champion. " |
